Office Visit
Initial Office Visit

An initial office visit ranges from 1 1/2 to 2 hours. We will conduct a comprehensive assessment, including history of pregnancy, delivery, and breastfeeding to date. The assessment involves a physical exam of mother’s breasts and baby’s mouth structure, as well as a baby weight check. A full feeding will be observed to assess milk transfer and feeding patterns. If pumping, we can asses and manage proper flange fit and techniques. An individualized plan will be developed with you to help you reach your feeding goals!
